I was out exploring a charming local city in the North East and came across this stunning historic mill, beautifully nestled amid the lush greenery of the riverbank.

I knew at the moment I spotted this remarkable location that this would be an ideal shot where I could utilise the darker tones effectively to really highlight the mill as the focal subject, ensuring the viewer's eye was drawn through the image toward that captivating structure.

In addition, I added a filter and employed a long exposure technique to smooth out the flowing water, capturing this delicate streak of white that would beautifully accentuate the foreground.
