This is a snapshot in time, an unguarded moment captured amidst nature's ever-changing landscape.

What you do not see out of frame is the considerable forestry work happening just beyond the edges, including all of the felled trees that have altered the surroundings. As I wandered through this section of woodland, I was abruptly stopped in my tracks by the sight of a stunning butterfly. Captivated by its graceful movements as it flitted from one vibrant flower to the next, it eventually landed on a delicate bluebell that stood beautifully in front of me. I normally don’t take portraits in the woods, but for this charming little creature, I simply had to make an exception.
