The outcome of patience and careful technique. Whilst I was out photographing the delicate bluebells, I suddenly heard the unmistakable and soothing hum of a bee buzzing nearby.
Intrigued by the sound, I began to search for it, quickly adjusting my camera settings to allow for a sharp image, all the while taking into account the rapid speed of the bee's movements.
After several minutes of careful observation and a lot of maneuvering through the foliage, I finally got into a good position and took this captivating shot of the bee landing gracefully on the bluebell.
